New Chief Photographer

Posted Date: 4/24/25 (2:24 PM)

This picture shows the symbolic "passing of the torch" as the KHS Photography program has a new Chief Photographer, Wyatt Long. Previous chiefs, seniors Hayden Green and Myles Harrison have stepped down/up to the "Chief Emeritus" status saying that their replacement needs to come on duty before the end of the school year so the former chiefs can advise and assist.

Long is a 3 year veteran of the Photography Program who has received numerous accolades for his work. He is a frequent winner at the State Youth Photo Contest and his work often appears in local publications. Sponsor A. J. Johnson said of Long, "Wyatt is an outstanding photographer from both the technical and artistic sides. His photojournalism is first rate and his portrait work is among the best I've seen students do. He has the organizational and leadership skills to continue the program's tradition of excellence."
