Gilmour Elementary School was
awarded a score of 1500 (a perfect score) in the API,
Academic Performance Index, for the past two school
years. We are the top school in class 2A.
Gilmour Elementary School is a premier elementary school
with state-of-the-art technology. Every classroom is
equipped with a SMART Board package which consists of a
SMART Board, projector, VCR/DVD player, scanner, printer
and speakers. Students become comfortable on the
computer at an early age. Skills they learn and
confidence they gain from presenting to their peers make
learning different and fun from day one! With its first
SMART Board installed in 2000, Gilmour has a rich
history of blending curriculum with technology, and
there’s certainly success upon success to prove it!
Gilmour Elementary Library has over 8,000 titles for
students to choose from! Our biggest news in our
brand-new AR system!
Students take a comprehension quiz on each book they
read. With hundreds of thousands of quizzes to
choose from, each child can easily find a book in their
interest and reading level.
Feel free to check out books from the public library to
quiz over, or buy your favorite at the book store.
